tonight, i got a call from a tv station to feature my cake pop products.

imagine my surprise.

but, due to the very short notice (they want me there tomorrow morning!), i had to turn them down.

i hope i get another opportunity like this, again.

with at least 24 hours advance notice. 😉

our birthdays

dday k’s girls are leos. me first (literally), then the little one.

we were set to leave for HK during this day but daddy k managed to set a birthday surprise for me at a korean resto.

then we were off!

something from the post

our doc mcstuffins prize loot arrived today! 🙂

you see, i entered the who has a boo boo contest of disney junior about 2 months ago. that means having ate a call me in the middle of the day (for a week!) to tell me which character had a boo boo on the show so i can send the answer via email. and we won! i think they chose 200 entries to win. 🙂

so what did we get? a 3d puzzle

and the big book of boo boos!

i can’t wait to show these to little k later. we won, sweetheart! 🙂

who doesn’t??? the way she cooks, the way she eats, it’s intoxicating! if i had a crush on a (domesticated) diva/goddess, it would be her. 🙂

she cooks with awesome gusto, and what i love about her show nigella express is that she whips up dishes in 30 minutes or less! and she doesn’t scrimp on the ingredients, her dishes are always decadent and mouthwatering!

but what’s this i saw online? trouble in (married) paradise? the photo below (taken 2 or 3 weeks ago) shows her husband, charles saatchi (yes, THE saatchi in saatchi and saatchi) grabbing her throat while at a restaurant in london. she was reported to have left the restaurant in tears.

charles saatchi says this incident happened during a heated debate, and he held nigella’s neck while talking to her in a “playful tiff.” really??!?! and his statement on this incident:

“Although Nigella made no complaint I volunteered to go to Charing Cross (police) station and take a police caution after a discussion with my lawyer because I thought it was better than the alternative of this hanging over all of us for months,”

nigella was said to have left the family home with her 2 children after this news came out in public, and was recently seen not wearing her wedding ring. it is not sure if she has indeed left him.

while an ex-wife of ssatchi claims he has never been physically violent during their marriage (this is saatchi’s 3rd marriage, 2nd for nigella), here is another picture of him holding her mouth in december 2012.
